Klarus remains one of the best makers of modern flashlights today, and the XT2C is one of my personal favorites. It's not only got a great flood beam, its lower setting runtimes make it a perfect rescue/survival light for boaters and pilots. Highly water resistant, it can stay hours in the water or snow. I've got one of the low lumen models (not even 500 lumens) and I have never lacked light. In fact, I routinely turn it down to lower settings. This is even brighter (725 lumens), but it's real value isn't its brightest setting, but its lowest. In a tent, you can spend hours reading on its lowest settings. Its strobe can be seen for miles at sea or in the mountains. One of this light's only drawbacks is that it lacks an SOS mode, which I still find useful. A strobe doesn't necessarily mean you have trouble (if they're looking for you great, but if you need help you have to manually spell it out). As an everyday carry light, the X2TC is hard to beat. And for forty bucks, its even more so.
You won't find a better deal on an LED light. Super basic light with decent 725 lumens, nice-feeling tail switch, and a really "white" led light. At $50, this light is perfect for someone not wanting to drop a ton of $ on a light, but wanting something quality/from a good brand. It is also perfect as a general use light in your vehicle or in the home.
