Buying someone a tactical flashlight is a great way to go because it’s a high-quality tool that will help you out in a pinch. It’s a tool that everyone should have in their house for emergencies, and it’s perfect for anyone who is in law enforcement, security, enjoys outdoor activities, works around the house, enjoys hunting, and more. So let’s take a look at a few of these awesome tactical flashlights.
Klarus XT2CR 1600 Lumen Tactical Flashlight
This is a compact tactical flashlight that’s perfect to clip onto your pocket and take with you wherever you go. The XT2CR delivers up to 1600 lumens with a maximum beam distance of 240 meters. Not only is it powerful, it's packed with features making it incredibly versatile. The XT2CR features a dual tactical tail switch design making it easy to operate the flashlight with a single hand. You can cycle through the four brightness levels and two flashing modes as well as access a momentary-on, the One-Touch Turbo, and a One-Touch Low or a One-Touch Strobe.
With the two programmable settings, you're covered in any situation. The Tactical Setting gives you access to the One-Touch Strobe. The Outdoor Setting gives you access to a One-Touch Low. You can easily switch between the modes easily allowing you to use the XT2CR exactly how you want to.
It's also USB rechargeable so you can conveniently charge the flashlight whenever you need to. It features a battery capacity indicator that doubles as a charging indicator so you can always know the status of the battery. The XT2CR can run on a single 18650 battery or two CR123A batteries. Make sure to check out the Klarus XT2CR tactical flashlight.
Tactical Flashlight Bezel
If you want to add something to make your XT2CR more awesome, check out the tactical flashlight bezel that fits on the XT2CR. This is a crenulated strike bezel attachment that's made of a stainless steel billet and is incredibly tough. It's the perfect accessory for this tactical flashlight. Check out the bezel attachment here!
Remote Pressure Switch
The TRS1 is a great remote pressure switch to have for the XT2CR and is preferred by hunters. This pressure switch features dual switches, has a momentary on, and provides multiple outputs to match the output of the flashlight. Take a look at the Klarus TRS1 remote pressure switch.
Another awesome tactical flashlight that many consider the best tactical flashlight is the Klarus XT11GT. It's also compact, though not quite as compact as the XT2CR. Nevertheless, it's easy to clip onto your pocket or carry in its holster. It delivers a blinding 2000 lumens and reaches out up to 316 meters. Not only does it have dual tail switches, it also has a side switch that functions separately. With the dual tail switches, you have access to a momentary-on, One-Touch Turbo and a One-Touch Strobe or a One-Touch Low. With the side switch you have a lockout function, a built-in memory function, and a One-Touch Low.
The XT11GT features four brightness levels and two flashing modes so that you can be prepared for anything. It also features three programmable settings. The Tactical Setting and the Outdoor Setting work the same way on the XT11GT as they do on the XT2CR. However, the third setting, the Advanced Tactical Setting, is a mode that is made for extreme tactical situations. The side switch will be completely locked out in this mode so you can only use the tail switches. The tail switches will only function with the One-Touch Turbo and the One-Touch Strobe.
The XT11GT is also a USB rechargeable flashlight making it convenient to charge. It also features a battery capacity indicator that works as a charging indicator so you can see the status of the battery. And this tactical flashlight runs on a single 18650 battery or two CR123A batteries. You have a lot of options with this flashlight and it is extremely versatile. Check out the Klarus XT11GT.
Tactical Flashlight Bezel
There’s also an aggressive strike bezel for the Klarus XT11GT as well which can be attached onto the head. The bezel is a crenulated and made of a stainless steel billet and is incredibly tough. If you’re wanting your XT11GT to look more tactical, this bezel is the way to go.
Remote Pressure Switch
The XT2CR and XT11GT both use the same TRS1 remote pressure switch. This is really a great accessory to have for any hunter because it allows you to easily operate the flashlight while it’s mounted onto a weapon. It’s a terrific remote pressure switch so check out the Klarus TRS1.
Klarus XT11X Tactical Flashlight
The last flashlight I want to talk about is the Klarus XT11X 3200 lumen flashlight. It’s mega bright and features a wonderfully diffused beam that allows you to see all around you. It has the same triple switch design that you’ll find on the XT11GT so the side switch functions independently from the tail switches. In fact, the user interface is extremely similar to the XT11GT. The tail switches give you access to a momentary-on, One-Touch Turbo, and One-Touch Strobe or One-Touch Low. One of the differences is that you’re also able to lock out the tail switch. The side switch features a built-in memory function, a One-Touch Low, and a lockout function as well.
Along with the six total outputs including two flashing modes, it also features two programmable settings: the Tactical Setting and the Outdoor Setting. Both of these settings only affect the tail switches so the side switch remains the same. In the Tactical Setting you have a One-Touch Turbo and a One-Touch Strobe. In the Outdoor Setting you have a One-Touch Turbo, One-Touch Low, and an SOS. Both of these settings are great and you are easily able to switch between them at any time making the XT11X perfect for a variety of situations.
It's also USB rechargeable and features an Intelligent Charging System so that it charges safely and conveniently. The Intelligent Charging System monitors the charging status, prevents overcharging, and limits the maximum charging current to 1A for safer charging. You can check the battery status yourself on the side switch. While it's charging, it will glow a certain color to let you know if it's charging, if it's finished charging, or if there's something interfering with the charging connection. You can also check the battery capacity when you first turn on the flashlight using the same indicator to give you an idea of how much charge is left in your battery. Speaking of batteries, the XT11X can run on an 18650 battery, two CR123A batteries, or two Klarus 16340 batteries. The flashlight does feature an Intelligent Battery Identification System and it will adjust the maximum output to match the battery discharge rate. You have a lot of excellent features with this tactical flashlight so definitely check out the Klarus XT11X.
Those are the three tactical flashlights I really wanted to focus on today because they are practical, innovative, unique, and versatile. If none of these flashlights speak to you, you can check out any of our tactical flashlights and see which one you like the best. However, we do highly recommend these three flashlights.
