4000 Lumen Tactical Flashlight - Pre-Order the Klarus XT21X

We’re excited to say that Klarus just announced the new Klarus XT21X, the most powerful tactical flashlight that we’ve seen so far! This handheld flashlight produces a 4000 lumen output! We were blown away when we heard it and no doubt it’s going to be a popular flashlight. You can pre-order yours today! We expect to be shipping the Klarus XT21X by April 30th so be sure you’re one of the first people to have this powerful flashlight. Let’s talk about some of the features the XT21X has to offer.

A Tactical Flashlight That’s Powerful and Unstoppable

So you know that the XT21X delivers a 4,000 lumen output which is insane. What you don't know is just how compact this flashlight is. It's less than 6 1/2 inches in length So you could carry this flashlight with you easily if you wanted to. It does come with a removable pocket clip which makes it easy to clip onto your pocket and take with you wherever you go. It's equipped with a CREE XHP70.2 P2 LED and has a maximum beam distance of 316 meters. So with that 4000 lumen output you'll be able to see pretty far into the distance but you'll mostly be seeing everything in front of you completely illuminated.

Multiple Outputs and Programmable Settings

The Klarus XT21X features a triple switch design with two tail switches and a side switch that functions independently. This allows you to choose how you want to use the flashlight whether you prefer using those dual tail switches or if you prefer using the side switch. The switches can be locked out so you can prevent any accidental illumination.

This tactical flashlight also features seven total outputs and that includes five brightness levels, a strobe mode, and an SOS mode. The brightness levels range from 5 lumens to 4000 lumens giving you a wide range to choose from at any given time. It’s especially great that Klarus has included such a low output as this can help conserve battery and softly illuminate close quarters where 4000 lumens would just be blinding.

The strobe mode and the SOS mode are for emergencies and are there so that you are always prepared no matter what the circumstance. With a full battery and on the lowest brightness level, the maximum run time is 200 hours so the XT21X is going to last you for quite a while before you need to charge it again if you plan your usage right.

Programmable Settings for Versatility

You also have two programmable settings with the XT21X flashlight: The Tactical Setting and the Outdoor Setting. In the Tactical Setting you have access to a One-Touch Turbo and a One-Touch Strobe while in the Outdoor Setting you have access to a One-Touch Turbo and a One-Touch Low. It's fairly easy to switch between settings so you're able to change the settings whenever you would like to or you can keep the flashlight in one setting if that’s what you’d prefer. This allows more versatility for you to use the XT21X exactly how you want to when you want to.

Rechargeable Tactical Flashlight

The XT21X is a USB rechargeable flashlight and features 2A USB fast charging which is a pretty big deal. Most Klarus flashlights feature a 1A USB charging so the XT21X is going to charge a lot faster. It also features a charging indicator so that you can know when the battery is charging as well as when it's finished. USB rechargeable flashlights are extremely convenient now so it's great that you don't need to worry about a battery charger or extra batteries for the XT21X.

A really cool aspect of the XT21X flashlight is that it runs on a 21700 lithium ion battery. This is the first Klarus flashlight to run on this battery and it’s an incredibly powerful battery with a 5000 mAh capacity. This battery is included with the flashlight and we are impressed to see a Klarus flashlight come with this powerful battery.

Durable Tactical Flashlight

The XT21X is an incredibly durable flashlight and is constructed from aluminum with an anti-slip texture to ensure your grip remains firm. It's impact resistant up to 1 meter and waterproof up to IPX8 standards, so you can take this flashlight out in a crazy rainstorm and know that it'll be okay. This tactical flashlight also features several other protections to ensure the safety and longevity of this tool including over current protection, overcharging protection, thermal protection, reverse polarity protection, and over voltage protection. With its Intelligent Temperature Protection System (this is the thermal protection), it will monitor the temperature and adjust the output levels so that the LED remains safe as well as the internal components of the flashlight. It's important to have this feature with any high intensity flashlight which is exactly what the XT21X is.

We also want to talk about some of the accessories that come with the Klarus XT21X. As you know, it does come with a Klarus 21700 lithium ion battery, but it also comes with a holster for easy carrying, a lanyard, a USB charging cable, and a spare o-ring. When you purchase the XT21X you are set in accessories. This is a really great tactical flashlight that's incredibly versatile, incredibly powerful, and just plain awesome.
