The Pila flashlight is ergonomic and well balanced, but at the same time feels like it would work just fine after being run over by a tank. These flashlights are made from aircraft-grade aluminum, black anodized for pleasing aesthetics. The lens is made from a very solid tempered glass that feels extremely solid (compared to the thin feel when you tap on a lower quality flashlight). All Pila models product a very bright and evenly distributed light.

The beauty of the Pila design are the modular upgrades. This flashlight system was designed so that many of the parts are interchangeable with other functionally different parts.
This flashlight comes with an LED tailcap which is perfect when you are reading maps, or looking at things close-up and don't want to consume a lot of battery power.

This light is easy to use and compact enough to put in your pocket and not cumbersome like a Mag lite. The 550 lumens will scare the heck out of intruders because after one short beam in the eyes they will run into a block wall because they can't see. I have not found one thing wrong with it

This was an early Valentine's gift from my girlfriend that just came in pretty handy. Not more than 20 minutes ago I tried out the 550 lumens on some punks attempting to break into my neighbor's car. I live on the second floor and these guys were at least 65 yds out and this incredible light illuminated the parking lot like it was noon. It was pretty quick; Light on, punks ran.......fast! I even heard one of them say 'po-po' as they ran away. Lol--they thought I was a cop with that light-- I guess. Anyway, thank you very much for somehow leading my girlfriend to an amazing purchase?? Best light I own--hands down!!

I use my flashlight for fishing. I need a really bright light when I am coming back in after dark in my boat. This flashlight is very, very bright. It is perfect for my use because of it's size. I was tired of having huge spot lights, but I needed something bright. My Pila fits easily in my boat bag.

The Pila Gl4 is without a doubt the brightest light that I own. It's not the most economical to run, but for the initial purchase price it's quite a deal. The GL4 provides more light for the size than anything else that I may ever carry! It will be a great comfort to have this light with me in the Withlacoochee Swamp this year. The biggest drawback that I have found after testing the light on the golf course with no ambient light is; when turning the light on, the LED tail cap goes on and it is blinding in utter darkness. Kiss your night vision good bye. The tactical switch should be the first option of this light and the LED tailcap should only be provided to someone that has a specific need for it. I look forward to using this light in Green Swamp this year; however it wil have the tactical switch on it by then.

Great light, I thought this was the brightest until I bought the blinding TerraLUX 600 Lumen Upgrade for my Mag Light! Boy was I wrong!
