I'm a professional, a professional dog bum, and this is the best dog-gone light I have ever found for my American Staffordshire Terrier, Pony Boy Capone (step aside foo-foo dogs). Simply attach it to a snap-swivel and hook it up to your dog's collar when running those dark canal banks or side streets. Other lights lasted anywhere from a few minutes to a few trips and were goners, usually because they're not completely waterproof and Pony Boy loves to attack sprinkler heads and jump in the canal. This product is darn near bullet proof--just don't lose the cap (order the extra kit for backup).

I like this little gadget a lot, its a great value. Realistically, that little battery is put under a lot of stress though, moving down to the 10 volt range within a few hours of use, thus dimming begins. I like it for reading books, and creating a relaxing ambience in any room at night. I will definitely take it on my outdoors trips, as it could be highly useful.
