Bought ten of these to put in gift bags for my son's birthday party. They were a huge hit. The laser is super bright and can shine as far as I can see. The "party mode" lights up a dark room with flashing rotating colored lights. Also the regular flashlight is great for reading at bedtime (almost too bright). If you are looking for something fun and practical, you have found it.
