I am in law enforcement and my partner purchased one of these light conversions... All I can say is WOW... It hurts your eyes even when your eyes are closed, right through your eye lids.

[...] It was very easy to install in my 14 year old rechargeable Maglite. The LED upgrade is brighter than I thought it would be!!I'm a cop and work the night shift. I use my Maglite everynight at work. When I approach vehicles on a motor vehicle stop using this new LED upgrade in my Maglite, I temporarily blind the driver and all occupants!! The folks in the vehicles even say things like,"WOW!" and, "I can't see a thing!"I feel a lot safer with this new upgrade in my old Maglite. Thanks for making a great product!

If you thought the maglite was already bright wait until you see this light. Its the same bright white light you would see if you used an arc welder without the helmet. The only difference is that it doesn't generate any heat and the beam is fixed.

I did not want to spend that kind of money, but
I kept on blowing out the 8 dollar Halogens.
All I can say is what a difference. Make sure you don't flash somebodys eyes. Now to get another one for my work truck.

If you are a professional who works at night, this upgrade is a must. My mag-light was just about the best light I ever owned. When I upgraded to this I was a skeptic. This light upgrade throws out a ton of light. It will light up the interior of a vehicle without question. For search and rescue, it will be your first and only light needed. The bulb head area will get warm but not an issue. You wont regret this purchase.

Well I got it to use with my Maglight but it's too bright for my eyes when im working. Im a plumber and get myself in some pretty dark places. This thing is too bright for me!

All I can say is HOLY [*]!!! This thing is unbelievable! I live on top of a hill and I can light up the roofs and streets of a big housing development below me. I have a 550 Lumen LED flashlight, but the TerraLUX 600 Lumen Upgrade in my Mag Charger just blows it away! Almost seems more than 600 Lumens.
