Do not use with rechargable batteries. This bulb is very sensitive to currents over 6 volts. However, when used with standard 3.0 volt lithium batteries, I love it.

I dropped it like a foot from the ground and it broke within minutes of installation.
that was my 4th replacement... i think its time for a new flashlight.
when it wasnt broken it worked very well i'll give it that
