I like the flashlight being compact. I carry in my jacket pocket for easy access and to keep it warm. I place on my ball cap bill when using. I live in a very cold place, its -17 right now. When outside for awhile, the parts shrink and the light tends to flicker or dim. Putting in my pocket helps. I used to own a plastic flashlight that did not shrink but broke the clip.
