I use my High Bean primarily while walking or mountian biking into or out of hunting and fishing areas. When you consider overall brightness, battery life, functions, and price I think it's the best light going.

I've been in rural law enf. & hunting for 21 years. I am ashamed to admit how many lights I own. This may be my best light. Extremely powerful given size & batteries used. I like the low powered battery saver function too. It's a full sized head light, but well worth the weight when working at night. I may buy another if the need arises and my brother is getting one for his birthday.

I use this for mountain biking and it illuminates a familiar trail just fine. I haven't used it on a new trail, but it might be a little weak for that. Wished it came with rechargeable batteries.

I utilize this light for serious injury and fatal crash investigations. It is very bright. I have tried approximately 5 other headlights but this one surpasses them all. This light frees up my hands that would otherwise be used to hold a flashlight.
