I bought one of these great LED lights last year, and ended up giving it to my daughter as she had a lame Mini-Maglight. I trust her safety with it, and recently I bought another for my self I carry in my car. I had to help a local sheriff at a car accident scene with "MY" Ray-O-Vac, as his 'tac'light' was not working in the cold..
For the money/cost, I could not recommend a better value for the performance!

This product is used in our factory by our techs. Everyone raves about the brightness and direct light light beam in those hard to see places. Another plus is the batteries don't have to be specially made, the AA works great.

As an aircraft mechanic I use this light many times a day. after giving up on other more well known brands I bought one of these lights. I am impressed with the brightness and battery life I get from this light. what ever the range is that they claim on the package I believe them. I can easily do inspections at night out on the ramp and see details with out needing a ladder because this light is so bright. do not look at the light, you will see spots!
two other mechanics I work with also have bought this light and none of us has had problems over the past year or so.
the only downside I can find to nitpick, it doesn't come with a belt hoslter. I bought another cheap flashlight just to get a holster that fits.

Corroded out using rayovac batteries in less then 3 months. Switch does not work.

Love the light, but I prefer a tailcap that can be momentary or when FULLY depressed will be constant ON. The tailcap button here is only a momentary, you have to twist the tailcap tight to have constant ON. Great value for such a bright AA light. My second Sportsman Extreme - I also have their 3C 4watt model, another hi-value light. Next to my Fenix TK10 (a cr123) these Rayovacs are amoung my favorite flashlights.
