These flashlights are made from aircraft-grade aluminum, black anodized for pleasing aesthetics. The lens is made from a very solid tempered glass that feels extremely solid (compared to the thin feel when you tap on a lower quality flashlight). All Pila models product a very bright and evenly distributed light. The Pila Flashlight System The beauty of the Pila design are the modular upgrades. This flashlight system was designed so that many of the parts are interchangeable with other functionally different parts. This flashlight comes with a tactical pushbutton tailcap. The LED tailcaps are not usable with the Cree LED lamp assemblies.

I wanted something better than the mag mini lights , after having a surefire, which I still use, this was a great purchase. I bought it with the rechargeable batteries and charger, only replaced one battery since, and now I need to replace the lamp. this thing is rugged. I work on elevators in NYC, looking up the shaftway and into pits this workes great and have no complaints, except the cloth holster, wore out after a while.

I like the flashlight because, it's small -L.E.D.
very bright white light.
It's always with me in the evening when I go out somewhere, very compact - comfortable case.
It is expensive, but worth it.
The Pila G2 is NOT 250 Lumens as advertised.

flashlightz.com Response: This particular Pila GL2 is rated at 250 Lumens. The manual included in all GL2 models is from an older model that had a lower Lumen rating.

I owned the previous model Pila G2 rechargable and used in in military combat operations in Iraq. The Pila G2 is extremely powerful, versatile and above all, reliable. I purchased a new one because my wife is always using my older one for numerous tasks around the house. Great flashlight that I recommend to everyone! I would buy the same one again if I lost this one!
