These flashlights are made from aircraft-grade aluminum, black anodized for pleasing aesthetics. The lens is made from a very solid tempered glass that feels extremely solid (compared to the thin feel when you tap on a lower quality flashlight). All Pila models product a very bright and evenly distributed light. The Pila Flashlight System The beauty of the Pila design are the modular upgrades. This flashlight system was designed so that many of the parts are interchangeable with other functionally different parts. This flashlight comes with a tactical pushbutton tailcap. The LED tailcaps are not usable with the Cree LED lamp assemblies.

Best Hunting Flashlight for the money

I am constantly looking for better products. This flashlight completely out does my Surefire. It is well built from top to bottom, inside out. It has some heft to it, but is very comfortable to hold. The holster that comes with it is very well made as well. For the money, you can't buy a better flashlight.

I got the light and was excited to try it out! I turned it on. From my house to the horse pasture is about 150 yards! Give or take 10 yards! I was very unhappy! It hardly had the throw to light up the fence posts! Here is why I am unhappy! I own a Streamlight NF-2 C4 Led flashlight which is rated at 120 lumins! I has the throw and wash to light up the posts and about 20ft more! Understand though the streamlights reflector is deaper and has a half smooth half textured finish! Over all the Pila is nicer! It runs a lot longer than the Streamlight and has a little more meat to hold on to! If only they had a smooth reflector that was deaper!
