My Pila GL2 survived two combat tours in Iraq and has been with me
on travels around the world; Kuwait, Iraq, Germany, England, Japan and
Republic of Korea. It has never failed and works as good as it did the
first day I bought it. It is over four years old and I am still using the
original bulb and rechargeable Pila battery. I am not buying a new one to
replace or as a backup to my old one - I am buying the newer model because
everyone I know likes to borrow mine! The Pila GL2 is the perfect size and
is indestructable.

This is a very solid built light. You can tell that a lot of tought process went into it. I love the ability of taking 18650 batteries. I like the inner lining which is very good at conducting electricity. The Cree LED module is very white and bright. On a 18650 battery it last a long time. The glass is also high quality. The ergonomics are very good. Very easy to grip and hold. I highly recommend this light to anyone looking for a dependable, high quality built light.
