This light will illuminate at a far distance with ease, most lights dont work for my line of business b/c it will not go past a certain point, but this light will perform in the worst conditions. Looking down pipes and dark areas with ease! The only thing I would have to say is a complaint is the size but it doesnt really get in the way when you have it in the holster to the side. Great Light overall, the best I have owned and the best price [...]! This light was being sold locally for[$]!!! I saved like 80%

I work the grave yard shift in downtown Los Angeles. And where I park is near the darkest alley I?ve ever seen. The down and out frequently use this alley for all means of surviving such as burglaries, robberies, assaults, vandalism and everything else.
The Pelican 7060 is ALL THE LIGHT YOU NEED. The distance of light is maintain and BRIGHT.
It fits perfectly on my belt and is there when ever I need to see who is approaching me with a flash of light to their face. Also, it is heavy enough to use as a defensive tool with a good whack upside the head of any possible assailant.

For the price this light is very bright and has great throw,however it starts to blink after only 2 to 3 minutes.

I love having this light for evening fire and traffic accident calls. Being able to clearly see what I'm working on, plus direct/warn traffic, etc...this is the BEST light I have ever owned. Surely puts my MagLites to shame.
I like that it's rechargeable and more than 3x brighter than comparable lights. I also like that it's much smaller and lighter than a Mag, but big enough to feel how it should in my hand.

Love the light, very bright, the beam reaches way out for an LED. Great for patrol work. Only problem is with the holster, would be better if it had a flap to close over the top. Light falls out occasionally when putting on duty belt

I'm in Law Enforcement and had a chance to play with this light for about 30 seconds. Those 30 seconds were enough for me to purchase one that very night. When I showed the guys at work they all decided to get one aswell. Very Bright. Very Tactical. Awesome Light. A++

This light is excellent for searching buildings both interior and exterior. Brightest light I have ever seen or used. Use it as a primary light or secondary. Dont buy anything else!

This is the best flashlight I have ever owned. My agency issued me the standard 4D maglite however I wanted something that was brighter and lighter. My only gripe (if you want to call it that), is that I perceived that the flashlight was shorter than it really was - I knew the dimensions ahead of time, but never held one before ordering. It holds a great charge, and it has a beautiful throw. I would recommend this light to anyone.

The Pelican 7060 LED is by far the brightest flash light I have purchased. I utilize this light on the job as a police oficer, and a majority of my department has gone to this type of light. The Pelican 7060 is easy to use, and is always on your belt insted of sitting in a charger in the squad car.

after years of buying equipment that is substandard (and paying a fortune for it) i can say i am overwhelmingly satisfied. This flashlight is awesome. I recommend to anyone and everyone. It definately exceeded my expectations. Pelican has definately done a great service to law enforcement by putting this product on the market. I would like to shake the designers hand!!!

I've been using this light on night shift as a police officer for a few days and I really like it. Other officers keep asking me what flash light I have!
The light is bright and the beam extends further than I even need it to. It's perfect for blinding suspects in confrontations.
I just don't like the design of the holster it comes with. The small retention strap at the base of the holster sometimes loses hold of the light, and it would be nice if it came with a top enclosure flap.

I am a Police Officer in Florida and after reading reviews left by others, I decided to give the 7060 LED a try. After my first night using it on the road I was sold. The flashlight is small and light enough to keep on my duty belt, and it's intensity side by side with my full-size rechargables puts the large ones to shame. It's nice to have the power of a full size light in a small package on your belt where it's ready when you need it.

I plan on using this outstanding duty flashlight for years to come. It produces exceedingly bright, blinding white light, but more impressively, it throws the output such a great distance. The 7060 can illuminate large areas like a dark backyard or large commercial warehouse just as effectively as a smaller room or car interior. It's well constructed, rechargeable with long battery life. The tailcap switch allows for use as a tactical light, although it's a bit front-heavy in this application until you get used to the weight distribution. I do think the body of the flashlight is a little too slim as it doesn't fit as well in my hand when being held for tactical use. I HIGHLY recommend this light.

I would highly recommend this product...Myself along w/ several co-workers had problems w/ the tail cap switch not working...Best value for this product is on Flashlightz.com.... Literally a night and day difference w/ this product...I work as a 3rd shift police officer and this product is AWESOME...most of my co-workers w/ ?brown lights? are surprised (embarrassed) of my light.

I use this light on patrol. The light is very bright and is lightweight. The only problem I had with it is trying to get it in the holder. It is a very tight fit and takes a few seconds to get it in. In law enforcement we know that a few seconds could make a difference in the outcome of the situation. I love the light but the holder needs to be a little bigger.

I use this light for Police work, it's brilliant white light puts the other regular lights to shame. Once another officer see it in use, they all state that they are getting one. Even the bad guys notice the difference. Excellant !!!!

Great light in close and far quarters. Lets you see what you need to see. I HIGHLY recommend it! No strobe, but strobes are for the Disco and that ended years ago!

This light is unbelievably bright. The battery life is outstanding and the focused beam design gives incredible clarity and brightness at over 100 yds. I would highly recommend this flashlight. The cost is excellent, especially when compared to the price of other led lights, which don't have nearly the lumens of this light. It also sits very well against the frame of your duty weapon for tactical use with easy on/off activation, which is an excellent alternative when your gun doesn't have tactical light rails.

This is in my opinion the best duty light out right now.
It is brighter than all the others and has great battery life.
I am also a fan of the polymer since this flashlight won't get
to hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

I use this product for my job in Law Enforcement. This light, by far is the best one I have had in my 14 years as a cop. The only thing I can see wrong is when the battery is low, the light blinks 3 times and then a min or so later the light just goes dead. It would be better if the light slowly turned off instead of immediately. Other than that the light is great.

Extremely bright light, battery will last at least 6 hrs. I have had NO problems with this light. To test the light, my friend shut off his headlights on a back road, and I held the flashlight out the window... the flashlight hit a better distance than his car lights (don't try this at home, kids). Kind of large, heavy, and too bright for the bedside, but great for power outages, and working.

I use this for many applications and it is incredibly bright for an LED flashlight. It has a great beam pattern although not adjustable (better that way in my opinion) And the lithium ion technology is great in that you can charge it without worrying about 'memory effect' ie: it can be charged even after a short use without affecting the run time of the battery, so you can always start with a full charge

The light is great. Easy on/off with the dual switches. It is a very bright light which comes in handy working graveyard. Just one comment about the working of the light...its great that it maintains its brightness and does not dim for the full battery life, but once the battery dies, it dies without warning, leaving you in the dark. Since the beam does not lose brightness when the battery life wears down make sure its charged all the time or have a readily available back-up light.

This light is super strong and virtually unbreakable. I have dropped it from 20 ft into the bottom of a barge and it only dented the cooling fins. I also like the built in voltage regulator feature. The beam never goes weaker until it dies. It blinks when it is time to recharge.

Excellent rechargeable flashlight. Very bright for law enforcement, stunning a unwanted predator, or finding something in the dark. Way better than any Surefire I have encountered, especially since its rechargeable and lasts longer than any Surefire I have owned. A+

This light is perfect to take along at night when walking my dogs. I can locate them easily, even when they wander into the bushes. The light beam travels an incredible distance and can illuminate even the darkest areas at night. I can see why police would use this product.
