Very easy on/off switch with "positive" click in both the on and off positions that prevent it accidently switching on or off. VERY sturdy construction. Good, bright beam with reasonable throw. I like the fact that it glows in the dark - at first I thought that this would be a bit of a joke, now I find that it is the first flashlight that I reach for since it is so easy to find in low light situations!
