The L4 is a handy, unbelievably bright LED light that's powered by 3 AAAA alkaline cells (included). The light weight, slim profile design fits neatly in your pocket and comfortably in your hand. I ordered 10 of the Pelican L4 1830 LED for my Field QC.
They have had nothing but positive responses so far.
Easy to carry in their FRC pockets, easy to hold in their mouths to free up their hands during weld inspections or punching out pre or post hydro inspections.
My personal preference has always been a larger flashlight due to smaller ones not having a bright enough beam but those also get hung up when crawling through pipe racks, vessels or tanks.
The Pelican L4 1830 LED gets the job done without all the hang-ups of the larger flashlights.
I'll be ordering more of them as we hire on more Field QC.
