We upgraded all our mini maglites because the mini maglites would accidently turn on if the staff person's duty belt making the battery go dead. The push button kit will eliminiate the purchase of future batteries. The staff really like the new and improved mini maglites.

ver very bright white light from a 3 led insert
at least twice as bright as the original bulbs and the tailswitch is very nice, a good tight fit and seal. the beam is nice and broad with no central bright spot good for a large area of visibility, non adjustable but thats not an issue for me, the only con is the twist beam adjustment needs to be in a certain range a few twists either direction for the flashlight to work, all in all a great product for a great price

The light provided is great, it identifies things with their true color, no unusual hues. Batteries last a long time and don't seem to dim as the batteries fade, constant output until they are done.

I have an older mini-mag. Installing the push-button was easy, but getting the pins to line up on the new LED bulb was tricky. The pins were not perfectly straight and too rigid to bend. Once I got it to go in with the polarity right, it worked great.

Unfortunately, the bulbs I purchased won't work in the new MagLite I purchased. Different design. My new bulbs have two small wires protruding from them while my MagLite bulb has two spades coming out at a different angle. Apparently, MagLite doesn't like people upgrading their stuff. Oh well.
