I mounted the Maglite® D Cell Universal Mounting Brackets in the car, beside the bed, and beside the door so far these things are the best for not having to search for your flashlight when you need it!

these mounts hold the maglite extremely secure, it cannot be improved upon. the only possible problem i can forsee is that if you use plastic anchors screwed into drywall, these mounts hold the maglite so securely that after removing maglite many times over a period of years, it may pull mount out of wall. if possible screw mounts into wood or one mount into a stud. god bless.
