I use these flashlights for emergency use in my vehicles and I keep a couple around the house for when I take the dog out at night or have to run out to the barn in the middle of the night. They are brighter than the older MagLites and should be easier on the batteries although I have not had them long enough to go through a set of batteries yet. The price here was a full 30% cheaper than buying them locally at a discount chain.

This was the only present my boyfriend wanted for Christmas. He works as a park ranger for the state house in Massachusetts and wanted something a little more durable and heavy duty to use at night! Definately the hit of the year!!

I use my flashlight around the house and yard, but prefer a smaller lighter one for my outdoor hunting and fishing. The spot is very good and bright, but the flood has a big black spot in the center.

I use it to spot addresses in a rural setting. With it, I can read most addressses at >150 feet. I thought I might need to upgrade to better LEDs, but I think it is going to be fine as delivered. I plan to buy another for my wife.
