WELL BALANCED AND SUPERB CONSTRUCTION, THROWS A CLEAN BRILLIANT BEAM FOR DISTANCE ILLUMINATION WHILE ADDING A VERY USEFUL FLOOD AS WELL, NO NEED TO FOCUS THIS ONE IS SET UP PERFECT, AN IDEAL OUTDOOR LIGHT IN A 'BOMBPROOF' LIGHTWEIGHT WATERTIGHT BODY, PERFORMS INTENDED ROLE PERFECTLY WITHOUT ALL THE 'TACTICAL' FEATURES OF HIGHER PRICED LIGHTS

My wife and I camp in desolate areas and have a number of tactical type flashlights. Excluding the somewhat larger, higher output (and more expensive) flashlights we have, the XO 3 is the best of the lot and fits in a pocket. It tops all of the ones we have that use 2 of the 128 lithium batteries and this includes some top of the line lights that are more expensive than the XO 3. If it's pitch dark in the middle of nowhere and you want to light it up both near and far, this flashlight will do the job. As with all of these kinds of flashlights, the XO 3 should be accompanied by extra batteries.
