You won't find a headlamp with as many features at twice the price! This pivoting 1 Watt has an additional 7 LED's for multiple uses. The primary 1 Watt throws a 100 ft. beam. The 3 white secondary LED's provide task lighting, and operate individually, or as one unit. The 4 red LED's located on the sides and at the rear of the battery pack are an added safety feature so you can see and be seen. Three 2AA Duracell alkaline batteries are located in a water-resistant rear battery pack, which balances the weight -- just 2.7 oz. on your forehead. Multiple modes for the 1 Watt provide over 50 hours of continuous light at 100%, increasing to more than 80 hours at 50% power. I liked the design of the headlamp but when I installed the batteries nothing happened. With today's technology level- a rather simple device such as this should be very reliable.
I had researched this head lamp before ordering it and happened across several other posts where the head lamp didn't work. I guess I should have taken their advice not to purchase it.
Unfortunately this is the second Garrirty product I have purchased recently and found it just didn't work. I guess someone at the factory fell asleep. What a shame.

This is a very versatile light; It has 3 LED's for close up illumination like reading and a bright narrow beam from the One Watt LED for hiking or working outdoors at night. The one drawback is that the On/Off switches (there is one for the close-up light and one for the narrow beam) are not easy to locate and operate while using the light. That aside, the adjustability of the light, it's various modes, and the comfortable head straps all make for a very durable and useful tool. I have used it during power outages and for working under the dash of a car. It's the best "Headlight" that I've found.

These lights were purchased for Safety and for work these are the best lights i have ever found to work eith and are more durable and put out more light than any light comparable. I will definitely repurchase these again.
