This light has a charging indicator light to let you know it is being charged while it is plugged into the wall outlet. It has a switch that allows the light to come on if the electricity fails. Very useful around the house.

Comments about Garrity Garrity Rechargeable Flashlight:

I bought a few of these years ago and was so impressed with them that when I now decided to get more emergency lights I searched the web until I found the exact same ones. I figured why change styles or brands when this one already supplied everything that I wanted in an emergency light. We now have one of them in every room in the house.

I have an older version of the Garrity Flashlight and it has had exceptional brightness and life. The new version doesn't compare to the older version.

This lights a large area in a dark basement when the electric goes out. It also doubles as a regular flashlight for dark corners down there.

Comments about Garrity Garrity Rechargeable Flashlight:

This is a very basic rechargeable flashlight. It works well if you only need a small amount of light, i.e. walk through the house at night. However, if you need anything brighter than this you will be disappointed. I guess I'm just used to super brigt flashlights. The size and shape are great, and I did like the power outage feature.

Comments about Garrity Garrity Rechargeable Flashlight:

This flashlight is exactly what I was searching for. I bought several of them to install around my place of business, in the event the power goes out.
Clearly this is a rugged and well-built flashlight, but it is sleek enough that it doesn't make our professional office look like a warehouse. And since it has a small red light on the front of it, people will be able to easily find the flashlight if the lights are off. Since this model is rechargeable, it can be left right in the outlet where it will be near at hand in the event of an outage.
