My elderly mother bought one and the battery lasted for over 7 years! It was used almost daily at night to let the dogs out and to search for items in the garage. The small size made it easy for her to keep handy and the light was nice and bright. I have ordered 12 to distribute to all our family members to keep one in every car, to keep in their garages and in the house. It's hard to find such incredible quality at an equally incredible price for goods anymore. The life on this battery is phenominal. My wife carried it with her on her nightly strolls for over 8 years, mostly to light the way coming up the walk to the house.
