Have owned an older version of this model for a number of years. It has suffered imeasurable abuse and has been dropped on concrete floors many times. It has never failed to light or perform perfectly. Have ordered four more of the latest versions and placed them all over my apartment for power failure lights. Incredible product for the money.

This flashlight is used so that I do not have to turn on overhead lights especially if others are sleeping.

Gives off a lot of light when the lights go out in the house. I can still crochet when the lights go out durning a storm. Like that you can use it as a flashlight or lantern.
