This is a pretty good light. All in all, I'm happy with it. It's solidly built, reliable, and bright as the sun. However, here's a few things I think buyers should be aware of before they buy it:1. You cannot use the pocket clip when the tactical cigar-grip ring is in place. The ring is in the way, preventing anything like the edge of a pocket from getting under the pocket clip.2. The spacer ring they provide to put in place of the tactical cigar-grip ring is a wierd goldish-copper color, which doesn't match the rest of the light and looks stupid.3. This light comes with an orange replacement tailcap switch boot to replace the black one that comes with the light, but there's no instructions and to this day I can't figure out how to get the light apart to switch them. I can take the rest of the light apart to switch out the grip rings and batteries, but the tailcap is a mystery to me how to get it apart.Other than those caveats, this is a great light. If you use the belt case it comes with, then you can use the cigar-grip ring and just leave the pocket clip off of the thing. Personally, I sometimes use the cigar grip but I hate tactical rings and don't need one in order to use that grip position. I admit the light does look cooler with the tactical grip ring on it though --- that copper-colored spacer looks [*] and I can't for the life of me figure out why they would make it that color when the rest of the flashlight is black.

I purchased this light because I needed a good light source to use when I am doing vehicle paint correction treatments. I own a high-end detail company in Dallas, Texas and I do many paint correction treatments on vehicles that have bad swirls, scratches etc. This light helps me see the paint issues. By using this light I can guarantee the paint will look its best out in the direct sun. This might sound weird to most, but its how professional detailers do paint correction. We use Halogen, Mercury Vapor and LED lighting to find all the hidden issues you can only see in directly open sunlight. The light is extremely easy to use and hold, and I can easily keep it in my pocket as I work my machines. I was able to work two vehicle with full paint correction before I started to notice the light going dim. Battery's are about $5 for a pair and currently they do not have the technology for rechargeable battery's yet. This light is extremely bright for its size. Everytime I pull it out to give an estimate on a clients vehicle they are amazed at this lights size and output. I plan on buying one for my father for Christmas as he needs a really good small light to take with him on RV trips. I would recommend this light to anyone that needs a good light source quickly. I also really like how you can adjust the beam to basic or turbo mode. The basic is nice to use around the house at night, and the turbo mode is what I use for my paint correction treatments. Some photos of me using the light for paint correction treatments can be seen at [@] in the show & shine section.

I was amazed at the quality, size, and the brightness of the flashlight. Considering the Surefire LED combat light is twice as expensive, I have been converted to the Fenix camp. Primary use; duty carry in law enforcement.
