I work at in a lime kiln at a sugar factory and I needed a compact light that I could carry in my pocket. This light worked very well considering the abuse it took. I work around extreme conditions temperature wise and the light performed flawlesly. It was dropped to the floor from 20ft. catwalk and suprisingly still worked. I'm not saying that every light will survive that but mine did. Also the fact that it is water resistant is a plus too. The price of this light is not bad. At first I didn't think for the kind of light and price that it was going to be all that great but I was proved wrong. It's a great little flashlight!!

It's already been dropped (several times)and left out overnight in sub-freezing weather. It functioned as advertised out of the package and continues to perform. The sturdy, yet light-weight, design fits the hand well. I've never like flashlights that put the switch on the bottom of the barrel, as this one does, but that's my only gripe.

I could not decide between this model and the 3xAAA model, so I purchased both. This model is not as bright as the 3AAA but not by much. Either model is an excellent choice. Size is about the only real consideration. Longer or "fatter"
I wish it would have come with a lanyard. The cap is drilled for it.
