The T.rex of flashlights
By LannyVerified Purchaser from Mississippi Delta on 4/28/2008
Pros:
Easy On/Off, Ergonomic Design
Cons:
A little slow to bright
Best Uses:
Emergencies, In The Car, Outdoors, Power Outages
Primary use:
Personal
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I run an emergency response communications unit, and this light makes setting up for nocturnal emergencies so much better. Far more runtime on a battery compared to lead-acid, recharges much quicker, no worry about letting the battery run all the way down (which can ruin a lead-acid battery). Takes about 10 to 15 seconds to get to max brightness, but I knew that before I bought it. If I need instantaneous light, which is rare, I can use my SureFire.
